Cathode Electro Deposition is the most superior, environmentally friendly water-based coating for metal components. Electro-deposition of primary coating became universal for a modern car paint shop. In CED, the charged parts of the paint emulsion move under electrical forces to Anode (AED) or Cathode (CED). The direct current established by the bath transforms the pigment and resin base of the paint into the surfaces of the body. Coating reaches all areas.
The film deposited does not dissolve again. The un-deposited material is however rinsed. Ultra-filtrate (UF) equipment is used for ED paint ingredients separating non-film and paint recovery. After stoning, the deposed film becomes a hard, durable polymer film.
